This place is the answer to all of life's mysteries. Family owned and operated, it is the old school "greasy spoon." They serve breakfast all day, and offer delights like meatball subs, egglant parm, chicken parm meal or sub and kabobs and meatloaf. Thing is, it all tastes like my Grandmother made it. I love this place. Oh, I forgot to mention the beef stew. In additon to the food, it is agreat place to pop in and get a Gatorade after a long run or trip to the gym/combat/dance complex if you re-enter the nieghborhood from the North Washington side. I always know that I can get a nice, fresh, hot homecooked meal at Sal's, and they're all really nice people in there.
